A LITTLE ABOUT ME!
I was in the third grade, trying to figure out how to load 35mm black and white film into a camera. I was getting ready to photograph my school’s Halloween parade for the yearbook. There I was, excitedly clicking away, trying different angles and mimicking the compositions I saw in books and magazines like National Geographic. There was always something about the pop of color or the timeless power of a black and white portrait that pulled me in.
Hey there, I’m Dominic!
Growing up, I loved getting lost in photographs, studying them, exploring places I had never been, and noticing every detail. From rivers deep in the jungle to portraits of people in busy cities, photos felt like small windows into other worlds. How incredible is it to see a moment frozen forever? That place may look different now, and that person may no longer be here, but there they are, preserved in a photograph for anyone to see. That’s what drew me to photography. We don’t just take pictures, we freeze time for the future, to see what was and what is.
Every portrait I create is about capturing the real you. Whether you feel awkward in front of a camera, shy, “not photogenic,” or you absolutely love being photographed — my job is to make the experience relaxed, easy, and natural. I’ll guide you through the process, and I’ll let you be yourself. The best photos always come from genuine moments.
I know how busy life can be. I have two kids, and between sports, school, and everything in between, my wife and I are constantly on the move. I also know how hard it can be for families and seniors to find time in their schedules. That’s why I’ve built my process to be simple and stress-free. Everything is handled online. You’ll have my direct email and phone number so you can reach me anytime by text, email, or call. We can do a quick phone or video consult to plan your session and finalize the details. I’ll send you helpful guides on what to expect, what to wear, and how to prepare so you feel confident walking into your session.
After your session, your images will be delivered in a private, password-protected online gallery. From there, you’ll be able to view, download, and order professional, museum-quality prints and wall art directly from the gallery.
I truly believe photographs are meant to be printed and displayed, not forgotten on a phone or buried in a computer folder. These images should be on your walls, in albums, and in frames, seen every day, passed down, and remembered. A printed photograph becomes part of your home and part of your family’s story.
I’ve also been a news photojournalist and videojournalist for over a decade, so I understand the importance of storytelling and fast turnaround times. You’ll receive your photos and videos quickly and reliably, without sacrificing quality.
Photography is a huge part of my life. I always have some kind of camera with me wherever I go. I feel almost obligated to document how wonderful and unique every person is in this world.
Photography freezes what time will eventually take, proof that we existed, and a memory of a moment we didn’t know we’d miss.
I photograph moments not for today, but for the day they become irreplaceable.
